Emily Ricky Baratz is a professional photographer, retoucher, and colorist based in NYC with Miami roots. She holds a BFA in Photography and Related Media from the Fashion Institute of Technology, with a minor in Art History. 

 

Emily’s personal projects have overarching themes of home and nostalgia – explored through her photomontages and home studies. In these works, Emily aims to create inexplicably relatable images that evoke the feeling of a memory just out of reach- a person you've never met, a place you've never been, that somehow still feels deeply relatable.

 

Emily has robust experience across a variety of shooting styles, and specializes in event, product, editorial (fashion, makeup, skin) and advertising. She is also a skilled retoucher and colorist, having trained through a 1:1 year-long mentorship at Roey Yohai Studios. Emily is committed to client satisfaction; she takes the time to hear and understand clients’ needs, and creative visions, while working efficiently to deliver extraordinary work on time, every time.
